How to make a network (UTP) cable ?
Network (UTP) Cable:
1. The length of the cable depends upon the distance between the two computers or data switch.
Maximum distance can't go over 100 meters (328 ft.)
2. Cut the cable according to your requirement from the cable coil, Usually cable is measured in meters and the cable length is marked on the cable in running meters.
1 meter = 3.3” feet
1.Cut the cable.
Inside the cable there areusually 4 twisted pairs of colour cables.
Orange / orange-white
Green / green-white
Blue / white and blue
Brown / brown-white
2. Cut the plastic shield without damaging internal cables.
3.Arrange one side of the twisted cables in the colour scheme as shown the figure.
(hold these cables firmly with your finger and thumb)
Now put the cable inside the RJ45 Connecter slightly in this way that arrangement of the
coloured cables must not be changed as shown.
Take a crimping tool and put the rj45 connecter inside the tool in this way that some part of the plastic shield of the cable remain inside the connecter, for a better grip. Now press the crimping tool firmly to make a joint with pins.
